Jessica joined our firm with nearly 15 years of experience defending hospitals and medical providers in central and northeastern Pennsylvania.

Jessica graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2005 with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in English. As the daughter of a hospital administrator, she chose law school over medical school and found the perfect fit in the area of medical malpractice defense. Jessica’s science background allows her to understand the medicine and approach issues from a different perspective. She also enjoys reading medical literature and using persuasive writing to obtain the best possible pre-trial rulings for her clients.

Following her graduation from law school in 2008, she began a clerkship with the Honorable Charles H. Saylor (retired) of the Northumberland County Court of Common Pleas. Judge Saylor notoriously handled all of the medical malpractice cases, so before she began her practice, Jessica had seen numerous medical malpractice cases go to verdict. During her decade in Williamsport, she assisted in the defense of numerous physicians to defense verdicts and obtained extensive drafting and courtroom experience, arguing before the Pennsylvania Superior Court as well as Courts of Common Pleas across central and northeastern Pennsylvania.

Jessica is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania. Jessica is an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, just recently ending a 6-year term on the Judicial Evaluation Commission of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
