Her comprehensive practice includes representing physicians, physician extenders, nurses, therapists, practice groups, long-term care & rehabilitation facilities, and large hospital and health networks. Born and raised in Philadelphia and the daughter of two career nurses, Laurie joined Kilcoyne & Nesbitt after beginning her career as a social worker. She later enrolled at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, where she served on the staff and Editorial Board of the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review. During law school, she also worked as an intern at Philadelphia Legal Assistance and honed her skills clerking for several judges, including Hon. D. Webster Keogh and Hon. John J. Poserina, Jr. in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas.

Laurie was selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for ten consecutive years and has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer annually since 2023, a distinction reserved for no more than 5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania (2.5% for rising stars). She has also served as an attorney mentor for the Temple Law School Women’s Law Caucus and is a member of Lehigh Valley Women Lawyers.
