Joann Giangiulio

When Joann joined the Firm in Spring 2021, she had over 17 years of experience in representing hospitals, physicians, practice groups, nurses, nurse anesthetists, physicians’ assistants, certified nurse midwives and residents in professional liability action. She handles lawsuits from their initial filing, through discovery and the exchange of expert reports, pre-trial submissions and trial.
Joann GianGiulio
Joann has second chaired trials in Philadelphia County, as well as its surrounding counties. She has resolved numerous matters at mediation and obtained defense verdicts at arbitration in Philadelphia County.

In 1992, Joann earned her Bachelor of Arts in Government from Lehigh University. After college, she administered housing and emergency shelter grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. In 1999, Joann earned her J.D. from Widener University School of Law, in Wilmington, Delaware. Currently, Joann sits as an arbitrator for the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas.

Joann resides in Narberth, Pennsylvania. In her free time, she likes volunteering at The Gift of Life Family House, The Devon Horse Show and Cradles to Crayons. She is the Past President of the Lehigh Alumni Association of Philadelphia and former member of the Lehigh University Alumni Association Board. On weekends, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends in Philadelphia, or at the beach.
