Anne E. Pedersen
Anne has decades of complex civil litigation experience. At the time she joined Kilcoyne & Nesbitt in 2021, she had been defending health systems, hospitals, physicians, residents, nurses and nursing assistants against professionally liability claims in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties for 12 years, handling all aspects of litigation from initial claim investigation to responsive pleadings, discovery, depositions, expert witnesses, and trial preparation. She has successfully tried cases in state and federal courts and achieved positive results for her clients in the state and federal appellate courts in Pennsylvania as well. Anne has also assisted health care facilities with obtaining emergency treatment orders and guardianships.
Anne graduated from James Madison University with two majors and two minors, and then earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board. She has served as an arbitrator in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Anne enjoys gardening in her free time, and vacations involving skiing and day hikes.
