June A. Taima
Senior Attorney
June joined Kilcoyne & Nesbitt in 2019 with several decades of experience in the representation of healthcare providers and others.
Prior to joining the firm, June worked for defense firms in Honolulu and Philadelphia, representing physicians, nurses, and others. June graduated from the William S. Richardson School of Law where she served on the Law Review and National Moot Court Team. She was certified as and volunteered as a mediator while an undergraduate at the University of Hawai’i. As an attorney June has experience in all phases of representation including pre-suit, litigation, trial, appeal, arbitration and mediation of professional liability matters. Most recently, June was employed as staff counsel for a major insurance carrier and specialized in the representation of licensed health care providers and long-term care facilities. She successfully mediated numerous professional liability matters resulting in earlier and more favorable resolution for her clients. She represented hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, physician extenders, licensed therapists, dentists, long term care facilities and others.
In her free time June enjoys travel, music and time with family.
